Saints or Communists? Non-government organisations in Australia

Dom Helder Camara, Archbishop of Recife, said "When I feed the poor, they call me a saint. When I ask why the poor have no food, they call me a communist."

Here in Australia, one might paraphrase the Archbishop: "When I feed the poor, they make me a charity. When I ask the Government why the poor have no food, they say they'll revoke my charitable status."
