Course Mission
Empowering young people to take control of their lives, by giving them the opportunity and skills to develop their self esteem and play a positive role in society.
Course Aimed At
Young people from differing backgrounds and lifestyles between 12-18 years of age.
Course Details
The young people come to the program with a support person from their own area. On average there will be 5-10 young people to each support person. The program commences on a Friday evening and concludes on Sunday afternoon. It utilises the experience of trained young people supporting and guiding other young people. They are supported by professional trained adults as their guides and mentors. A weekly follow up support meeting is held in a smaller group from their geographical area.
